Are electronic safe locks vulnerable to EMP attacks?
The S&G Spartan electromechanical locks that come with Browning safes are EMP-resistant. S&G released study data regarding its electromechanical locks and has confirmed their ability to properly open in the event of an electromagnetic-pulse (EMP) attack or solar incident.
S&G went beyond standard testing and used an EMP exposure of 50 kV/m – the US military’s highest EMP impact standard as found in MIL-STD 461F, Method RS105. At the end of the testing series, the S&G locks were still fully functional. Our SECURAM electromechanical and biological safe locks are certified EMP Resistant, having completed the US Military’s most extreme EMP testing.
Do the electronic locks come with a backup key?
Browning Safes use only UL-listed electromechanical safe locks. These do not come with a key backup because they are designed to be secure and tamper-proof. Key backups can create a security vulnerability, as someone could gain access to the safe without needing the combination. Also, having a key backup defeats the purpose of having a combination lock to begin with.
What's covered by the warranty?
Browning ProSteel warrants your safe to be free from defective materials and workmanship for five years from the original purchase, except for the combination lock (which carries a five-year warranty from the lock manufacturer) and any electrical or lighting accessories (which have a 90-day warranty).
Should disaster strike, your investment in a Browning safe is protected by the best warranty in the gun safe industry – a lifetime warranty that covers attempted break-ins, actual break-ins, and fire. If your Browning safe is involved in one of the situations above and your homeowner’s insurance policy does not cover the damage to the safe, Browning Safes will repair or replace it. (Safe contents are not covered.)

How much is safe delivery?
We offer FREE SHIPPING even on our Browning gun safes. This includes curbside delivery, which means your safe will be delivered to your curb, but you are responsible for getting it in the house and set up.
Your Browning ProSteel safe is very heavy, and extreme care should be used when moving this or any other large, heavy item to avoid injury to yourself or others. We strongly recommend using a professional mover to deliver or move your safe.
If you wish to have your safe delivered inside your home, we have several options ranging from white glove delivery to complete installation (which includes bolt down and setup). Should the unthinkable happen, you’ll be glad you chose a Browning ProSteel safe for protection from thieves and fire. The warranty covers any damage to your safe from both. Many safe companies offer a warranty, but like the safes they manufacture, the warranties are not created equal. A Browning ProSteel safe warranty is one of the best in the industry.

Limited Materials and Workmanship Warranty
ProSteel warrants your safe to be free from defective materials and workmanship for five years from the date of original purchase with the exception of the combination lock (which carries a five-year warranty from the lock manufacturer) and any electrical or lighting accessories (which carry a 90-day warranty).
This warranty does not apply to damage or loss resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, unauthorized entry or improper installation, damage resulting from exposure to moisture and/or condensation, nor does it cover wear or scratching of paint or plating.
If the product should become defective within the warranty period, ProSteel will repair or replace it (at ProSteel’s discretion) free of charge. A replacement safe or part will be shipped curbside delivery (for destinations in the continental United States). Should any defect be noted, the purchaser agrees to inform ProSteel in writing before any work is performed.
Important: All repair work claimed under this warranty must be approved by the manufacturer prior to repair. Any unauthorized repair, dismantling, or tampering with the locking mechanism shall nullify this warranty. Neither ProSteel Security Products nor Browning will be liable for consequential or incidental damages or expenses.
This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty from ProSteel Security Products or Browning, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. This warranty gives you legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

To be eligible for return, items must be in the same condition in which the item was received. Items must be in the original packaging, unused and unwashed.
No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase. If your item has a manufacturing defect in its materials or workmanship, you can return it at any time. As a courtesy during the holiday season, eligible items may be returned up to 45 days from the date of purchase on orders made between November 20 and December 15.

I liked this safe over any other because of the tall height and premium security. It has a biometric lock and great anti-theft and fire protection reviews. Though it is one of Browning's more expensive safes, it didn't make any sense to me to go with anything other than the top of the line and most secure. If you're protecting things that need protecting there's no use in crying over losing them because you went the cheap way to save a little money in the immediate. Weight is evenly distributed so even if you didn't bolt it down it it's still a monster and will take a minimum of 4 people to safely move no matter how you try to push or drag it. The look is great too. I went with the gloss black and patriot pledge graphic. Seriously impressive to see it in person. I'm happy and purchasing from here was a breeze.

It's NOT A GIMMICK
I thought this remote control for the delta pro was super gimmicky when I first saw it. But Lakehouse & Cottage had a deal to get it as a free gift with my Delta Pro so what the heck, I tried it out and guess what. Now I can't imagine not having it. Honestly makes life so much easier. I don't have to keep running down to the basement to check the levels on the pro or to use it. I'm sold.
I installed DIY battery technology using the delta pro to power my house for shorter outages without noise or maintenance. I started with one, but couldn't help coming back for more. 5 star service. fast shipping. excellent product. also got some free EcoFlow products as a gift with my last delta pro purchase from L&C. my advice? go for more than you think you need. you can never have too much power.
I got this as a free gift when I bought a big ol' boy STS from Lakehouse & Cottage. I've never been much for "small" but I have already found use for this. It's quiet, easy to use, and keeps my pistol right where I never thought I needed it.

I had been saving up for a long time for a pair of giant binoculars mostly for that famous "3D feeling" in the image that you can only get with binoculars. Not to mention you don't have to squint like you do with a telescope and you don't have as much noise. I know I might be in the minority when I say this, but binoculars are my go-to over telescopes even for DSO.They're also super fun for comet chasing. Which brings me to why I'm here! I was finally ready to buy my own BT to see the 12P/Pons-Brooks Comet this month, but I could not find a pair that was in stock ANYWHERE. I tried Orion, I tried Explore Scientific, I literally looked everywhere. Orion kept telling me that they had them in stock but they would arrive in like 6-8 weeks. Well I found out that's actually a lie because the manufacturer for all the BT binoculars has been on backorder for months and is not expected to have any stock anytime soon. Anyways, I finally found a pair here at Lakehouse & Cottage, but then again I was super disappointed because they told me they were dealing with the same issue with the manufacturer and didn't have them in stock. Well, that is to say I WAS disappointed until 2 days later their customer service team reached out to me directly to let me know they had tracked down a pair for me! I had seriously given up hope. But they got me a great deal and totally hooked me up. I LOVE these Vixens. They're honestly even better than I could have imagined and I'm so glad things worked out the way they did because I never would have found them on my own. Can't recommend enough.
Lakehouse & Cottage was very friendly when I called in to grill them with a bunch of questions about their bundle options. Basically, I was testing these out to find what could be a much better solution for a whole home backup as compared to my old generator. The main question I had was how long the EcoFlow Delta Pros would last just running critical loads in my house. To give a relative benchmark in the winter time my house uses about 20 to 25 kilowatt hours per 24 hour period. In the summer it's a little different scenario where I can go as high as 60 or even 70 kilowatt hours depending on the outside temperature and how much we're running our air conditioner. So far I get about 7 hours running my heavy duty things like fridges and freezers. Once I figure out how to make this more feasible of a set up with the solar panels then I think it will completely replace my old generator. Until then, I'll have to keep fine tuning this set up. Ultimate goal is to be completely on solar though so I'm ok with putting in the work to build out the right system and these guys made it easy.
My wife and I been fulltime in our new RV rig for about 2 months now with our Delta Pro solar setup. We've got 2,000 Watt of solar using the 220 Watt panels and our Delta Pro powering our entire 41ft Grand Design Momentum 5th wheel.
We both work remote inside the camper, and have had no issues so far with the system and have been able to run 2 AC's.
We used to have a 3,000w Victron Inverter setup which was around $15,000. We wanted a DIY system that was also portable if we end up selling the unit down the road. This was our best solution, and while its not 100% perfect, we are more than happy with the system we have in place! I feel obligated to mention the support team at Lakehouse & Cottage deserves a shoutout because they helped us get a great deal on the exact bundle we were looking for and shipping was fast.

Really wanted something to obsess over and they helped me narrow it down immensley. Having a ton of fun with this R200SS scope and I'm grateful they didn't try to just convince me to get the biggest most expensive one. Thank you for answering all my "stupid" questions! You guys rock and I'll be back.
I needed a safe for my guns and important papers. When I called to ask about this safe, they were able to answer all my questions and suggested this was a good fit.They were right. It weighs around 200 lbs heavier than others of similar size. It has a great fire rating, and I like the electronic lock. The Winchester name is a USA Legend through and through. Very happy with this safe and the L&C staff. I was really impressed.

Updating my review with an additional star, although it falls short of a perfect five-star rating. After my unit failed at the 12-month mark, I made an appeal and received a new replacement unit. While I appreciate that, the warranty on the replacement is now only for one year, not the original two-year term. It's a bit disappointing—either you have confidence in your product's quality or you don't. However, I must acknowledge their great customer service. My once strong affinity for Ecoflow has waned. The backup Delta I purchased a year ago failed. But on a positive note, Lakehouse & Cottage customer service is prompt and supportive. I'll come back to buy from them but my next purchase will likely be from another brand.
I'm eyeing another one along with an extra battery for upstairs. L&C made this kit incredibly user-friendly—plug and play all the way. And if you hit a snag, there's a video guide for every step. I only needed to double-check a couple of things—setting up the brackets initially and then sorting out the cable hookup. Some folks reckon this generator is noisy, but personally, I don't find it bothersome. It's a straightforward and pleasant kit. Being a 60-year-old and not in the best health, I managed to set it all up on my own. I'd definitely recommend it.
This was a purchase I didn't wnat to make, but I'm glad I made it. Southern California Edison has been having frequent "planned power outages" in my area since before the big COVID shutdown in America. In just the last two weeks, we've had three such outages that span the morning through the afternoon. Dealing with replacing my garage refrigerator, repairing the main fridge twice, and constantly keeping the refrigerator doors closed during outages to prevent food spoilage became tiresome. After enduring numerous planned and unplanned outages, I eventually caved and invested in the Ecoflow Delta.
While a gas-powered generator was an option, its weight, the hassle of carrying it upstairs alone, inability to store it indoors, and the noise it would generate for hours during use made it less appealing. When the last planned power outage hit three days ago, I charged the Ecoflow to 100% and connected our full-sized refrigerator to it—it worked like a charm. Now, even during the scorching summer heat in SoCal, when the power is out for hours, our fridge remains unaffected. We can easily access our food and drinks despite the outage. I did my research to ensure the wattage met my needs, and I'm pleased with the product.
